TIPS

If you drive at a normal speed and keep your distance, you make it easy for yourself. This applies to both merging and exiting traffic, as well as for drivers who brake unexpectedly (or have defective brake lights), do not signal, take an unexpected turn, or stop to chat with someone by the road.
In Curacao, traffic on the main road often has right of way, even at a T-junction.
On Curacao, you pay at the counter before you go refueling. This can be done in cash or with a debit card. Pls return your rental car with the same amount of fuel as you have received it.
Animals may cross unexpectedly; especially after sunset, a loose donkey is poorly visible.
